Polls Appcetera

Import and Export Zoom Polls

This app lets you export Zoom Polls to simple, text-based JSON files and import them again whenever you need them.

This makes it easy to reuse and share polls between Zoom accounts — including accounts belonging to different organisations or enterprises.

Zoom provides some options for sharing polls between users, and this is improving with features such as Zoom Hubs. However, those tools are generally designed for sharing within the same Zoom environment.

This app provides a straightforward way to move poll content across organisational boundaries.

What is included in an exported poll?

Only the poll structure and question content required to recreate the poll.

What is NOT included?

The export contains no personal information.

In simple terms: you are sharing the poll questions — not the people or their answers.

Running context

Surface
mainClient

This value came from the client-side Zoom Apps SDK at /apphome and was passed as ?context=mainClient. Use it to branch your UI — e.g. show meeting controls when inMeeting, settings when inMainClient, etc.

Persistence

DB on Your identity and refresh token are stored, so Zoom can recognise you next time it opens the Home URL.
